My Story
I began using Young Living essential oils in a pretty desperate season of my life. Pretty soon after getting married, I was dealing with loads of terrible health issues ranging from sleep deprivation, digestive issues, raging anxiety, and hormonal imbalances. I was a hot mess, frankly, and hoped and believed that there was a better way and that I wasn't going to be bound by medications and health issues my entire life. So, I began to explore more natural remedies and solutions, which led me to Young Living. It was a slow process to begin with, as I eased into this new lifestyle and learned a lot day by day. The more I used the essential oils and other products that YL offered, the more I noticed a difference in my physical, emotional, and mental health, and the more passionate I became about choosing the cleanest, non-toxic products I could for my home and family.
Why Young Living?
You may be wondering why you should choose Young Living essential oils over all the other oils that are currently flooding the market at Target, Whole Foods, or Amazon. Well, not all oils are created equal, by ANY means. The FDA does not regulate essential oils whatsoever, meaning that even if their label says, "100% pure" or "all-natural", most all oils you can buy on the market have loads of additives and synthetic fragrances that are harmful to your body and home.
Young Living has a "Seed to Seal" standard, meaning that we own all of the farms where every plant for the oils is sourced, AND they go through extensive testing to make sure that these oils are the absolute highest quality without ANY dilution or chemical additives.
How to Use Oils
There are SO many ways to use oils. We use them every single day in numerous ways within our home. The general ways to use oils are:
1) AROMATICALLY - This is where your diffuser comes into play! This is an incredible way to activate the benefits of essential oils through filling and purifying the air in your home. This also replaces the use of candles or any air fresheners that have harmful synthetic fragrances and paraben wax...now that's a whole different conversation! :)
2) TOPICALLY - Many oils can be used on the skin as perfume, massage oils, or therapeutically for digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, headaches, and even anxiety!
3) INTERNALLY - The Vitality oils that YL offers can be ingested internally with veggie capsules or even in hot tea. This is a great way to make sure you are gaining every benefit these oils have to offer to your body!
